About the author

Sander den Hartog is CEO and Owner of CostPerform, with over 20 years of experience in cost management, profitability analysis, and financial consulting. Before joining CostPerform in 2018, he held senior roles at KPMG Advisory and KPMG Plexus, where he led cost and performance management engagements across financial services and healthcare. He works directly with finance leaders across banking, government, telecom, and manufacturing.

He regularly speaks at industry events, hosts the annual Costing Conference and webinars on cost management and profitability with senior finance practitioners from organizations including ING and Nedbank. He has also published on Activity-Based Costing and cost management methodology in Controllers Magazine.
